| Some professional journalists enjoy pooh pooh-ing the blogosphere because we lowly citizens simply don't have the required "layers and layers of fact checkers" that Real Journalists have to vett their articles though. But what happens when a Real Journalist organization really really really wants something to be true? After retiring the floppy disk in March, Sony has halted the manufacture and distribution of another now-obsolete technology: the cassette Walkman, the first low-cost, portable music player. | Some time back, just before my lung surgery, I got a nice laptop that holds tons more data than my old desktop. So I decided to phase out the desk top and keep the niftier laptop. The main problem is my iPod, or more precisely, its files. I need to somehow tranfer the files from the iPod to the laptop, but it doesn't seem to work that way? I have installed iTunes on my laptop, but rather than transfer the contents of my iPod to the laptop, it wants to wipe it clean. I have my little iPod (Nano, 16g)... |
